William 'Billy' Skelly is a dedicated Paramedic with NSW Ambulance since 2006, known for providing exceptional frontline care in emergency and non-emergency settings. He holds a Bachelor of Paramedic Practice from the University of Tasmania and has completed various qualifications, including a Diploma of Paramedical Science and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Recognised for his commitment to service, William has received several awards, including the Pandemic Service Medal (2022) and the National Medal (2021). He is also a First Aid Trainer and Assessor, focusing on competency development and regulatory compliance in training programs.
In 2023, William served as a Pilgrimage Medic for Sydney Catholic Schools, caring for over 600 participants during a three-week pilgrimage in Italy and Portugal. Fluent in English and advanced in Spanish, he is passionate about education, healthy living, and outdoor activities such as surfing and mountain biking.
